PETITIONS FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.18 Of 2021 on the file of the respondent Police.
COMMON ORDER : The Court made the following order :- When the matters were taken up for hearing on 16.07.2021, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the matters may be referred to the Mediation for settling the issue. Considering the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, the matters were referred to the Mediation Centre and interim protection was also granted.
2. After getting interim order from this Court, the petitioners have not taken any steps to resolve the issues. The matters are kept pending for the past two months and it has not been listed before this Court so far.
3. Considering the conduct of the petitioners in obtaining an order of interim protection by submitting that there is a possibility of settlement and thereafter not taking any steps to resolve the issue, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.
4. Hence, the Criminal Original Petitions are dismissed. However, the petitioners are at liberty to file a fresh application, if so advised.
