Prayer in Crl OP(MD)No.1551 of 2022:- Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to direct the learned Special Judge for SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act Sessions Judge (PCR Unit), Ramanathapuram to accept the surrender and consider the bail application of the petitioner on the same day of his surrender in Crime No.121 of 2021, Emaneswaram Police Station. ORDER:- This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.B.Ramamoorthy, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Mr.P.Kottai Chamy, Government Advocate (Crl.side) for the Respondents, this Court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to extend the time to surrender in the order passed in Crl.O.P(MD).No.1551 of 2022, dated 28.01.2022.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances, this Court is inclined to to extend the time for surrender on the following directions:

CRL MP(MD)No.6236 of 2022 "(a) The petitioner shall surrender before the Jurisdictional Court on 15.06.2022.

(b) The jurisdictional Court is directed to accept the said surrender and also to dispose of the bail petition to be filed by the petitioner on the same day of surrender on merits and in accordance with law. (c) The petitioner as well as the police authorities are directed to intimate the defacto complainant about the proposed surrender on 15.06.2022."

4. Accordingly, this petition is ordered.
