ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners herein apprehend arrest at the hands of the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Usilampatti Taluk, Madurai District for the offences under Sections 498(A) I.P.C. and Section 3 & 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act. The petitioners have moved this Court for anticipatory bail.

2.The de facto complainant is one K.Saranya Devi, wife of R.Karthick Raja. When the matter came up on an earlier occasion, the learned counsel on either side submitted that they would endeavour to amicably resolve the dispute. True to the assurance given to this Court, the issue has been resolved and joint compromise memo dated 31.07.2018 has been filed. The same shall form part of this order.

3.Since it is a matrimonial dispute and the parties have resolved the matter between themselves, a direction is given to the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Usilampatti Taluk, Madurai District, not to register any First Information Report against Karthick Raja and his parents and it is admitted that Saranya Devi, the de facto complainant had given a complaint before the Karimedu Police Station and the same was registered in Crime No.454 of 2018.

4.The Inspector of Police, Karimedu Police Station, Madurai, is suo motu added as the second respondent in this Criminal Original Petitions and a direction is given to the Inspector of Police, Karimedu Police Station to close Crime No.454 of 2018, based on this order and file a closure report before the concerned learned jurisdictional Magistrate. This shall be done within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With these observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
