O R D E R

The challenge in this writ petition is to the summons dated 13.02.2026 issued by the first respondent, calling upon the petitioner to show cause as to why the legal heirship certificate issued in his favour should not be cancelled at the instance of the third respondent.

2. Mr. D. Sadiq Raja, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, has placed on record the proceedings dated 30.03.2026, whereby the second respondent has cancelled the legal heirship certificate issued in favour of the petitioner.

3. In view of the subsequent development, nothing survives for adjudication in the present writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of, granting liberty to the petitioner to challenge the proceedings dated 30.03.2026 issued by the second respondent, if so 2/4

advised.

4. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
