ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed praying for a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to direct the 4th Respondent to change the name in house tax assessment for door No.7/227, P.Palakurichi Marungapuri taluk, Trichy District, based on the petitioner's representations dated 14.03.2014 05.02.2015.

2. Mr.TR.Janardhanam, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents.

3. By consent, this Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would be suffice if the representations of the petitioner is disposed of, by the respondents, on merits and in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

5. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents has no objection in considering the representation of the petitioner.

6. In view of the above, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner in this Writ Petition, the first respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the representations of the petitioner, dated 14.03.2014 and 05.02.2015, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the interested parties, if any, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
