Respondents PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking an order in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent i.e., the Agricultural Production Commissioner and Principal Secretary to Government,Chennai to dispose off the disciplinary action initiated by the Commissioner of Agriculture in memo No.VCS3/80792/2004, dated 11.02.2009 on merits within a specified time that may be fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

The petitioner seeks for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to dispose of the disciplinary action initiated by the Commissioner of Agriculture in memo No.VCS3/80792/2004, dated 11.02.2009 on merits within a specified time.

2. Mr.R.Velmurugan, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice, if the final order is passed based on the enquiry report 15.03.2011 in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ this Court.

4.In view of the limited scope of the prayer, the first respondent is directed to pass final order based on the enquiry report dated 15.03.2011 on merits and in accordance with law, if not already disposed of, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
