*********** [Order of the Court was made by R.VIJAYAKUMAR, J.] It is the case of the petitioner that his son Jegadeesan aged about 21 years went missing from 29.04.2022 and that the police are not taking effective steps to secure him. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present Habeas Corpus Petition with the above prayer.
2.Heard Mr.R.G.Shankar Ganesh, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.T.Senthil Kumar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 & 2.
3.Today, Mr.R.Paulraj [Mobile No.9498198224] Special Sub-Inspector of Police, Kadupatti Police Station, Madurai District, is present before this Court.

4.On instructions, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the complaint given by one Satheesh Kumar [third respondent herein] that his daughter Sarathadevi went missing, a case in Kadupatti Police Station, Madurai District in Crime No.55 of 2022 has been registered on 15.05.2022 for 'girl missing' and thereafter altered to 366(A) I.P.C. r/w. Section 5(1) & 6 of POCSO Act. He further submitted that during the course of investigation, it came to light that Sarathadevi had eloped with Jegadeesan. Both Sarathadevi and Jegadeesan were secured and were handed over to their respective parents. Learned Counsel for the petitioner affirmed the same.
5.Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
