The Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the second respondent police to register FIR based on the complaint of the petitioner dated 24.06.2018.

2.Heard Mr.A.Sivakumar, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.K.K.Ramakrishnan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who takes notice for the respondents.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, a case was registered in Cr.No.500 of 2018 by the second respondent on 17.07.2018 for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 294(b), 323 & 506(i) of the Indian Penal Code. 4.In view of the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
