O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent herein to dispose the petitioner's complaint dated 03.05.2021 by considering the representation dated 04.05.2021 within a period that may be stipulated by this Court.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that there was a dispute between the petitioner and his wife. Hence, he has gone away from his house. At that time, the house hold articles, a sum of Rs.25,000/-and five sovereign gold jewels were ransacked from the petitioner's house. Hence, he gave a complaint on 04.05.2021. Even after a lapse of four months, no action has been taken by the respondent Police.

3.However, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that based on the representation given by the petitioner, enquiry was undertaken in C.S.R.No.311 of 2021, but, the petitioner did not appear before the Enquiry Officer. He would further submit that the petitioner is not residing in the address mentioned in the petition.

W.P(MD)No.11116 of 2021 4.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that he will direct the petitioner to appear before the Enquiry Officer. 5.Since the enquiry is being conducted by assigning C.S.R.No.311 of 2021, the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed. However, the petitioner has to appear before the Enquiry Officer and co-operate with the enquiry.

6.With these directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of as infructuous. No costs.
