O R D E R
This petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondents no.2 and 3 not to harass the petitioner based on his representation dated 07.04.2025.
2. According to the petitioner, the 4th respondent borrowed money from the petitioner and issued a cheque for an amount of Rs.6,00,000/- and the said cheque was presented, but the same was returned. Therefore, he filed a cheque complaint before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court and the same is pending. While so, the 4th respondent lodged a false complaint against the petitioner and based on the same, the 2nd respondent frequently called the petitioner and insisted to return the cheque. Therefore, he sent a representation dated 07.04.2025, but the same has not been considered. Hence this petition.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the 4th respondent would Page No. 2 of 5
submit that already the 4th respondent settled the amount through one Sekar. In spite of that, the petitioner has filed the cheque complaint. Therefore, he lodged a complaint before the 2nd respondent and the same is under enquiry.
4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents no.1 to 3 would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the 4th respondent, they called the petitioner for enquiry and the same is under enquiry. They have not harassed the petitioner as alleged by him.
5. Considering the prayer sought for in the petition and the 2nd respondent also denied the alleged harassment, and based on the complaint lodged by the 4th respondent, they called the petitioner for enquiry and the same is pending with the 2nd respondent, this Court recording the above said submission of the learned Government Advocate, directs the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 07.04.2025 and dispose of the same in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of this order. 6. With the above said observation and direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
