ORDER

This petition has been filed to quash the impugned FIR in Crime No.480 of 2024 dated 13.10.2024 registered on the file of the first respondent police.

2. The learned Government Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the first respondent, on instructions, would submit that after completion of investigation, the respondent police filed a final report in Crime No.480 of 2024 before the jurisdictional Court. Therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication in this case.

3. Since the respondent police filed a final report, after completion of the investigation and as per FIR, there are some allegations to constitute the offence against the petitioner, it is for the petitioner to challenge the final report in the manner known to law.

4. Considering the prayer sought for in this petition, without issuing notice to the second respondent, recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), this Criminal Original Petition is closed preserving the liberty of the petitioner to challenge the final report in the 2/4

manner known to law, if he is aggrieved. However, the trial Court is directed to take appropriate decision on the charge sheet filed in Crime No.480 of 2024, without any delay. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed.
