(Order of the Court was delivered by G.R.Swaminathan, J.) Heard both sides.

2.According to the writ petitioner, the fifth respondent herein has committed encroachment on a public pathway. He wants the same to be removed. The petitioner has given a representation on 19.03.2024. Since it was not acted upon, the present writ petition came to be filed. 3.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the fifth respondent categorically asserted that she has not committed 2/4

any encroachment. The learned standing counsel for the local body also states that there appears to have been erroneous classification in the year 2018 and that there is no encroachment as such. If that be so, the second respondent can as well pass a formal order on the petitioner's representation and inform the petitioner accordingly. If the petitioner is still aggrieved, the petitioner can avail the remedy open to her in law. 4.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. (G.R.S. J.,) & (R.P.
