This petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents No.1 to 3 to issue house site patta in the name of the petitioner for the lands in Survey No.374/2, Doumbucherry Village, Bodinayakkanur Taluk, Theni District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 14.03.2026 within stipulated time framed by this Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is seeking the grant of a Natham Patta on the basis of long-standing occupation of the land, and accordingly requests issuance of the patta.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 have submitted that although the petitioner is in occupation of more than 9 cents of land, under the Natham scheme, the petitioner is entitled to only 2.75 cents.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.03.2026 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
