ORDER

The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the respondents to regularize the period of suspension as spent on duty and disburse the arrears of salary. 2.The writ petitioner was placed under suspension, on account of the fact that a criminal case was registered against her. Subsequently, the criminal case ended with an order of acquittal and the writ petitioner was exonerated and the departmental disciplinary proceeding is not initiated against the writ petitioner.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner states that till today, no disciplinary proceedings are pending against the petitioner.

4.Under these circumstances, the period of suspension is to be regulated for the purpose of reckoning the qualifying service and in these circumstances, the respondents are directed to issue suitable orders regulating the period of suspension as service period with reference to the rules in force and by following the procedure contemplated within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
