ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to grant permission and protection to perform Dance Programme (Aadal Padal) at 28.07.2018 in the festival event of Srisethukaliamman Temple situated at Old English Club Street, Kamarajar Salai, Madurai - 9, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 11.07.2018.

2. The learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner, in his capacity as Kovil Vizha Committee Member, has submitted a representation dated 11.07.2018, before the respondents seeking permission and protection to conduct Adal Padal programme on 28.07.2018, however, the said representation is yet to be considered by the respondents and hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. Mr.P.Kannidevan, learned Additional Government Pleader, on instructions, would submit that the said representation of the petitioner dated 11.07.2018 was considered by the second respondent and the same was rejected. He has also produced a copy of the said rejection proceedings.

4. In such a view of the matter, nothing survives for further adjudication in this writ petition and the same is dismissed as having become infructuous.
