The Criminal Original Petition is filed for a direction to the learned Principal District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Eraniel to dispose of the case in C.C.No.98 of 2016.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the case has been taken on file in the year 2016 by the learned Principal District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Eraniel in C.C.No.98 of 2016, but so far trial has not been commenced. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) would submit that about 10 witnesses have to be examined in this case.

4. Considering the submissions made on either side, the learned Principal District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Eraniel is directed to dispose of the case in C.C.No.98 of 2016 in accordance with law, within a period of eight months from the date of receipt https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
