The Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of a Mandamus seeking a direction to the respondents to rectify the extent of the land, as 0.01.20 hectares instead of 0.01.00 hectares in S.No.396/3 at Nagaiyanallur Village, Thottiyam Taluk, Trichy District in patta No.996. The petitioner had given a representation on 31.01.2023. 2.Heard Mr.T.Lenin Kumar, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.J.Ashok, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents. 3.Let me not enter into a detailed examination of facts, but place an obligation on the first respondent/Tahsildar to issue notice to the petitioner herein, examine the records for the holding of the petitioner and thereafter, determine the area of the land in S.No.396/3 and if it is 0.01.20 hectares, then make necessary corrections from 0.01.00 hectares to 0.01.20 hectares. The entire exercise may be completed within a period of eights weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

4.With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No order as to costs.
