This petition has been filed by the petitioners to call for the records pertaining to the First Information Report in Crime No.105 of 2021 dated 08.04.2021 on the file of the first respondent police, for the offences under Sections 324, 342, 109 and 506(2) of IPC and Section 4 of TNPHW Act and quash the same.
2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsels on both sides represented that the matter has been amicably settled between the parties and to that effect, they have entered into a compromise and the same was filed before this Court. They further submitted that the petitioners also lodged a counter complaint against the defacto complainant in Crime No.104 of 2021, for the offence under Sections 324, 109, 341 and 506(2) of IPC and the same was quashed on the ground of the compromise arrived between the parties. 2/5
3. The defacto-complainant and all the accused are present and this Court enquired about the terms of compromise. The defacto-complainant represented that they entered into a compromise and she has no objection to quash the FIR. A compromise memo, dated NIL.02.2025 signed by the parties and their respective counsel, is also filed before this Court.
4. This Court has perused the terms of the compromise memo.
5. Considering the nature of the offences and the parties have also entered into a compromise, it is appropriate to allow this petition.
6. Recording the said compromise memo, this petition is allowed and the First Information Report in Crime No.105 of 2021 dated 08.04.2021 on the file of the first respondent police is quashed. 22.04.2025 Internet :Yes Index :Yes/No NCC :Yes/No LR 3/5
