ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to take action based on the representation made by the petitioner on 20.04.2021.

2. Heard Mr.C.Ezhilarasu, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, Ms.D.Farjana Ghoushia, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents 1, 2 and 4 and Mr.R.Sivakumar, learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing on behalf of the third respondent.

3. The case of the petitioner is that he is the owner of the property situated in Survey No.38/1A, Varichiyoor Village, Madurai District. Adjacent to the said land, the Highways Department had extended the road and had constructed a storm water drainage in front of the property. According to the petitioner, someone had damaged the storm water drainage and as a result, the petitioner is put to untold hardship. In view of the same, a representation was made by the petitioner on 20.04.2021. Since the same was not considered, the present Writ Petition has been filed before this Court. 2/4

4. In the considered view of this Court, the Writ Petition seems to have been filed to find out as to who had damaged the storm water drainage. If these type of Writ Petitions are going to be entertained by this Court, there is no end to this type of frivolous petitions that will clog the system. The issue raised by the petitioner is absolutely frivolous and it will be a sheer waste of time for this Court to go into an issue of this nature. This Court does not find any merits in this Writ Petition and accordingly, the same is hereby dismissed. No costs.
