O R D E R

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate No.3, Thanjavur to dispose of the case in CC No. 49 of 2024 as expeditiously as possible.

2.According to the petitioner, the petitioner is the sole accused in CC No.49 of 2024. The case is pending from the year 2010. So far trial has not been commenced therefore he seeks for speedy disposal. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that initially FIR has been registered in the year 2010 and final report was filed before the Judicial Magistrate No. 2, Thanjavur and the same was transferred to Judicial Magistrate No.3, Thanjavur and renumbered as CC 49 of 2024. Now, the case is posted for trial. The respondent police is ready to produce the witnesses as directed by the trial Court. 4.Since the case is pending from the year 2010 and the case is also posted for trial, this Court hereby direct the learned Judicial Magistrate No. 3, Thanjavur to dispose the case as early as possible without giving long adjournment, not beyond 15 days. The respondent police is also

directed to produce the witnesses without any delay. 5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
