RESPONDENT/ COMPLAINANT ORDER : This petition coming on for hearing on this day, upon perusing the earlier order of this Court dated 07.07.2021 and the requisition letter of the Additional District Judge / Presiding Officer, Special Court for EC & NDPS Act Cases, Pudukkottai, vide letter in D.No.1103/2021, date 16.11.2021 and court made the following order:- Today, this case is listed under the caption "Extension of Time for Trial Court".

2.It is evident from the records that this Court vide order dated 07.07.2021, has directed the trial Court to complete the trial within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The learned Additional District Judge / Presiding Officer, Special Court for EC & NDPS Act Cases, Pudukkottai, has submitted a letter dated 16.11.2021, stating that inspite of best efforts taken, the Court was not able to dispose of the case within stipulated time due to non production of witnesses due to COVID-19 Pandemic and he seeks further three(3) months time for disposal of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ the said case.

CRL OP(MD) No.8934 of 2021 3.Considering the reasons assigned, this Court is inclined to extend the time sought for. Accordingly, three(3) months time is granted to the learned Additional District Judge / Presiding Officer, Special Court for EC & NDPS Act Cases, Pudukkottai, to complete the trial in C.C.No.38 of 2020 from the receipt of copy of this order.
