Prayer : Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is filed under Section 528 of BNSS, to relax the condition imposed by this Court in the order of Crl.O.P.(MD)No.2177 of 2026 dated 04.02.2026 in respect of appearance of the petitioner before the Crime Branch Madurai District, daily at 10.30 a.m. until further orders.

ORDER

This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed to relax the condition imposed on the petitioner by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.2177 of 2026 dated 04.02.2026.

2. Heard both sides.

3. Considering the nature of the offence, the fact that the petitioner has been regularly complying with the conditions, and the fact that the investigation in this case is almost complete, this Court is inclined to modify the condition imposed on the petitioner to the effect that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police once a week i.e. on every Saturday at 10.30 a.m., for a period of four weeks. 2/4
