O R D E R

This Civil Revision Petition is filed, for early disposal of the suit in O.S.No.319 of 2012, on the file of the learned Subordinate Judge, Pudukkottai.

2. The petitioner is the plaintiff in O.S.No.319 of 2012 and the respondent is the defendant. The petitioner filed the suit for eviction against the respondent. The respondent is in occupation of the suit property, as a tenant and running a textile business. The respondent did not pay the rent from December, 2011. Now, the respondent shifted his textile business to other premises and kept the suit property lying vacant and did not hand over the vacant possession to the petitioner. In the circumstances, the respondent filed written statement on 10.04.2013. From that date onwards, it was adjourned on various occassions, without any reason. In the circumstances, he has come up with this present Civil Revision Petition for speedy disposal of the suit.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned

counsel on both side and considering the limited prayer sought for in this Civil Revision Petition and the suit is pending from the year 2012, and also the written statement is filed on 10.04.2013 itself, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, this Court directs the learned Subordinate Judge, Pudukkottai to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.319 of 2012 as expeditiously as possible, in any event, not later than 30th day of September, 2016.

5. With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
