Respondents PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to initiate appropriate action based on the representation of the petitioner dated 02.08.2014 which was forwarded by the Director of Vigilance and anti corruption, Chennai, by proceeding dated 12.08.2014 to the 1st respondent within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court. O R D E R

This Writ petition is filed seeking for a mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to initiate appropriate action against the 3rd respondent based on his representation dated 02.08.2014.

2.It appears that the petitioner has got some grievance against the functioning of the 3rd respondent and therefore, he made a complaint before the 1st respondent, who in turn forwarded the same to the 2nd respondent. It is stated that the said complaint is pending before the 2nd respondent. Therefore, it is for the 2nd respondent to consider the complaint of the petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law after giving due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as to the 3rd respondent.

https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 3.Accordingly, this Writ petition is disposed of without expressing any view on the merits of the complaint made by the petitioner, only by directing the 2nd respondent to dispose of the complaint preferred by the

petitioner dated 02.08.2014 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law after giving due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as the 3rd respondent. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
