O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd Respondent to provide necessary police protection to the petitioner for his life and limb in the light of his representation dated 28.03.2025. 2.According to the petitioner, the respondents 3 to 5 have caused life threat to the petitioner, thereby, the petitioner has lodged a complaint against them. Since no action has been taken, he sent a representation on 28.03.2025, but the same has not been considered. Hence, this petition.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that the representation of the petitioner was considered and closed on 11.03.2025, since the petitioner himself withdrawn the complaint. Once again the petitioner has sent a fresh representation dated 28.03.2025. They will conduct enquiry within a period of 15 days.

4.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this petition, this Court, without even issuing notice to the private respondents, is inclined to pass orders.

5.According to the petitioner, the respondents three to five caused life threat to the petitioner and therefore, he sent a representation to the respondent police and the second respondent has also admitted the receipt of the representation of the petitioner dated 28.03.2025. 6.In view of the above, this Court hereby directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner and take appropriate action within a period of 15 days from the date of this order in accordance with law and after affording opportunities to both parties. With the above observations and direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
