Prayer: This Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., directing the second respondent to give police protection to the petitioner and his family members life and limb from the third respondent.

ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for police protection to the petitioner and his family members against the third respondent.

2.Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned Government Advocate(Criminal Side) for the respondents. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, the second respondent has registered a case in Crime No.128 of 2018 against the third respondent for an offence under Sections 447, 294(b), 323 and 506(i) of I.P.C and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Woman Act, 2002.

4.Pursuant to the registration of the F.I.R, the third respondent and his henchman are continuously threatening the petitioner and his family members and there is a life threat to the petitioner and his family members.

5.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) would submit that subsequent to the complaint of threat received from the petitioner, the second respondent police have called the third respondent and the third respondent has undertaken not to go near the petitioner and his family members.

6.Recording the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
