O R D E R

This Writ petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to provide appropriate police protection with permission for conducting Kalari festival etc., schedule to be fixed on 15.05.2015 to 17.05.2015 in the Mudukkankulam Vannimaram Sri Sangaiahsamy Thirukovil situated at Mudukkankulam Village, Aruppukkottai Taluk, Virudhunagar District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 24.04.2015.

2.When the matter came up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that there is possibility of clash between two groups in the said village during the said festival and therefore, the petitioner could work out his remedy before the respondents.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner agrees for the same. 4.In the view of the said submissions made on either side, the petitioner is directed to approach the 2nd respondent Police for getting necessary permission. The 2nd respondent Police is directed to call both the groups and resolve the dispute and pass appropriate orders within one week from today.
