O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent to provide permanent status and the benefits thereof to the petitioner from any date within two years from 12.04.2006 i.e, the date of his joining in service or atleast with effect from 15.01.2015 I.e., the date on which he completed 480 days of continuos service, within the period of 24 calendar months from the date of his reinstatement in service on 23.07.2013, in accordance with Sec.3 of Tamil Nadu Industrial Establishment (conferment of Permanent Status to Workman) Act, 1981.

2. By consent of both parties, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3.The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that it would be suffice, if the representation of the petitioner is disposed of, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 4.In view of the limited scope of the prayer, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the issue involved, the respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 13.03.2015, and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording the Petitioner an opportunity of being heard. If on a specified date the Petitioner does not appear for personal hearing, orders may be passed on merits based on the available records after recording the absence of the party/Parties.

5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
