ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 2 and 3 to grant police protection to the petitioner and her husband Praveenkumar's life and limb.

2. On the side of the petitioner, it is stated that the petitioner married a person against the wish of her family members. The fourth respondent is the mother of the petitioner. The fourth respondent and the brothers of the petitioner are trying to take https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P(MD)No.9919 of 2022 vengeance against the petitioner. Hence she seeks for police protection.

3. On the side of the prosecution, it is stated that the fourth respondent lodged a complaint before the police and an enquiry was conducted. The petitioner and her mother were enquired, both of them gave statements and the fourth respondent not pressed the complaint and both of them are living peacefully and there is no necessity for giving them any police protection.

4. It is seen that there is a family dispute between the mother and daughter and the matter was amicably settled between the parties and they are living peacefully.

5. In view of the same, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
