Respondents This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a Writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent to grant electricity connection to the petitioner dwelling house which is located at Sy.No.160/2 in Plot No.1/22, Kannukkuzhi, Unaiyur, Manapparai Taluk, Trichy District.

ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition directing the third respondent to grant electricity connection to the petitioner dwelling house which is located at Sy.No.160/2 in Plot No.1/22, Kannukkuzhi, Unaiyur, Manapparai Taluk, Trichy District.

2. According to the petitioner, though his application for electricity service connection was received by the authority through RPAD, till date, no order has been passed by the respondents. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Per contra, the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents would submit that no such application as alleged by the petitioner has been received by the respondents.

4. To give quietus to this matter, the petitioner is directed to send a copy of the application along with a copy of this order to the respondents within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the same, the respondents are directed to effect service connection forthwith, if it is otherwise in order. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
