O R D E R

This Court had earlier issued statutory contempt notice to the respondents on 28.04.2023 for the hearing on 16.06.2023 i.e today. Today, it is informed by the learned Government Advocate that the order dated 15.03.2022 passed in W.P(MD)No.2349 of 2022 has been duly complied with. In confirmation of the same, the learned Government Advocate has produced the proceedings of the Theni District (Elementary) Educational Officer dated 06.05.2023. The learned counsel for the petitioner also accepted the same. In view of the compliance of the order dated 15.03.2022 passed in W.P(MD)No.2349 of 2022, nothing survives for further adjudication in this Contempt Petition. Accordingly, the Contempt Petition is closed. The 2nd respondent is present and his appearance is recorded. Since the order of this Court has been complied with, the contemnors are discharged from the contempt proceedings.

2. It is also represented by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents that the respondents had earlier filed a Review Application, which is still pending on the file of this Court and he seeks closure of the said Review Application also. Since the said Review Application will have to be heard by another Hon'ble Judge of this Court, who is having the portfolio for hearing the said Review Application, the learned Government Advocate is directed to address a letter to the Registry to list the said Review Application for early hearing. On receipt of the said letter, the Registry is directed to list the same immediately before the Hon'ble Judge, who is having the portfolio to hear the said Review Application.
