Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of MANDAMUS directing the respondents herein to issue death certificate of petitioners husband Late. K. Rajaram Mohan who died on 23.07.2025 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 09.03.2026.

ORDER

The petitioner is before this Court seeking a direction to the respondents to issue death certificate of the petitioner's late husband K.Rajaram Mohan, who died on 23.07.2025 pursuant to the representation dated 09.03.2026.

2. The learned counsel for the respondent corporation has placed on record the proceedings dated 06.04.2026 issued by the second respondent thereby the request of the petitioner for issuance of the death certificate had been rejected stating that the application is not accompanied with the relevant documents.

3. In the light of the above, the Writ Petition is disposed of reserving liberty to the petitioner to file an application afresh along with all relevant documents and if such an application is filed, the second respondent shall consider the same on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the application to be filed by the petitioner.
