ORDER

Heard both sides.

2. The learned Standing Counsel for Madurai Corporation admits that through the petition mentioned survey numbers, Anuppanadi Periakanmoi Channel flows. It is further admitted by him that survey was recently conducted on 25.04.2025 and that encroachments were noticed and that notices have been issued to the encroachers. It is specifically stated by the learned standing counsel on instructions from the Commissioner, Madurai Corporation that all the encroachments will be removed within a period of six months. We make it clear that further extension of time will not be granted.

3. The Writ Petition is allowed. No costs.
