O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to file a final report in FIR No.18 of 2021, dated 04.08.2021, on the file of the District Crime Branch, Sivagangai District.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that based on the complaint of the petitioner, a case has been registered in Crime No.18 of 2021 under Sections 406, 468, 471, 420, 120(B) r/w 34 IPC against the respondents 2 to 7. In this case, investigation is still pending and so far final report has not yet been filed. Hence, this petition is filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to file a final report, as early as possible.

CRL.O.P (MD) No.10060 of 2022 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) has submitted that in this case, investigation has almost been completed and the first respondent police need further three months time to complete the investigation and to file charge sheet before the jurisdictional Magistrate.

4.Accepting the request of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), the first respondent police is hereby directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.18 of 2021 and file a final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate, within three months, from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 5.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
