PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to survey, measure and demarcate boundaries of the land comprised in S.Nos.308/2, 308/3, 312/7 and 312/8 Punnam Village, Aravakurichi Taluk, Karur District based on the challan dated 18.01.2019 under Receipt No.24 issued by the 2nd respondent along with necessary and proper protection by the 3rd respondent within a time frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This writ petition is filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to survey, measure and demarcate the boundaries of the property in S.Nos.308/2, 308/3, 312/7 and 312/8 situated in Punnam Village, Aravakurichi Taluk, Karur District.

2.By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3.According to the petitioner, with the relief sought for in the prayer, though she made a representation dated 12.08.2020 before the 2nd respondent, so far no action has been taken. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3, on instructions, would submit that after the bifurcation, the petition mentioned property comes under the jurisdiction of Pugalur Taluk, Karur District. Therefore, the petitioner may approach the Tahsildar, Pugalur Taluk, Karur District, to seek her remedy. In this regard, the learned Additional Government Pleader has produced a copy of the proceedings of the 2nd respondent in Na.Ka.No.A2/2472/2020 dated 03.09.2020. 5.Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court is inclined to pass the following directions:- i) the 2nd respondent / The Tahsildar, Aravakurichi Taluk Office, Karur District is directed to forward the petitioner's representation dated 12.08.2020 to the Tahsildar, Pugalur Taluk, Karur District to survey, measure and demarcate the petition mentioned property within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order;

ii) it is needless to say that the petitioner may approach the Tahsildar, Pugalur Taluk, Karur District to workout her remedy; 6.With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
