PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying this Court to direct the second respondent to investigate the case in Crime No.17 of 2022 and file charge sheet in accordance with law under the supervision of the first respondent. ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to investigate the case in Crime No.17 of 2022 and file charge sheet in accordance with law under the supervision of the first respondent.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the case has been registered against the accused in Crime No.17 of 2022 for offences under Section 427, 448, 294(b) and 506(2) of IPC. Since the respondent Police has not completed the investigation and has not filed a final report, this Criminal Original Petition has been filed.

3. The learned counsel for the Government submitted that the respondent Police seeks two weeks more time to complete the investigation for filing final report.

4. I have considered the matter in the light of the submission made by the learned counsel for both the parties. By accepting the submission of the learned Government Advocate, two weeks time have been granted for completing the investigation and directs to file a final report before Judicial Magistrate.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
