Prayer:-Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent to release the General Power of Attorney Deed dated 27.03.2015 as pending document in P9/2015. ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition praying for a Writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent to release the General Power of Attorney Deed dated 27.03.2015 kept as pending document in P9/2015.

2. The case of the petitioner is that though the third respondent has registered the general power of attorney deed, on 27.03.2015, who in turn, neither rejected nor returned the same to the petitioner. In this connection, no communication has also been sent to the petitioner, inspite of having sent a detailed representation to the third respondent, on 20.04.2015. Even then, the efforts of the petitioner did not fructify any result, forcing the petitioner to approach this Court for the relief stated supra.

3. Mr.N.S.Karthikeyan learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents.

4. By consent, this Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

5. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would be suffice if the representation dated 20.04.2015 of the petitioner is disposed of, by the respondents, on merits and in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

6. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

7. In view of the factual matrix narrated at para No.2 of this order, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner in this Writ Petition, the (*)Third respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner, dated 20.4.2015, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the petitioner as well as any of the interested parties, if any, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
