ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the second respondent police, not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

2.Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submits that four cases in Crime Nos.157 of 2015, 15 of 2014, 176 of 2017 and 134 of 2015 are pending against the petitioner at Sedappatti Police station, Madurai District and enquiry is being conducted in these cases.

4.Under such circumstances, once the regular FIR has been registered, the question of "Not to harass" will not arise. Any direction issued by this Court at this stage will amount to interfering with the investigation conducted by the respondent police.
