O R D E R
This petition is filed by the petitioner to direct the respondents to give adequate police protection for the Maha Kumbabishekha Peruvizha to be held on 17.05.2025 to 19.05.2025 in Arulmigu Sri Bama Ruckmani Samedha Sri Krishna Bagavan Temple, situated at Ayan Periyanendal Village, Panthapanendal Panchayat, Sathurvedhamangalam Post, Paramakudi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 29.03.2025.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the villagers decided to conduct Maha Kumbabishekha Peruvizha in the Arulmigu Sri Bama Ruckmani Samedha Sri Krishna Bagavan Temple from 17.05.2025 to 19.05.2025. For the same, they sent a representation to the third respondent for police protection dated 29.03.2025 but no action was taken. Therefore, he filed this petition. Page No. 2 of 5
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Crl.Side) for the respondents also admitted the receipt of the representation of the petitioner and submitted that they will provide adequate police protection.
4. Therefore, recording the submission of the Additional Public Prosecutor (Crl.Side), this Court directs the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation and provide adequate police protection for the Maha Kumbabishekha Peruvizha to be held on 17.05.2025 to 19.05.2025 in accordance with law.
5. With the abovesaid observations and directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
