Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records pertaining to the impugned auction catalogue vide proceedings in ACL/e-Sales/2025-26/FA-48 dated Nil (Online Uploaded on 21.03.2026) issued by the 5th Respondent and to quash the same and consequentially to direct the 3rd, 4th and 5th Respondents to conduct fresh auction for the disposal of Fly Ash after reserving certain percentage for sale to Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) in accordance with the Notification/Guidelines dated 30.01.2026 issued by the Ministry of Power/2nd Respondent within the period that may be stipulated by this Court For Petitioner : Mr.M.Ajmalkhan Senior Counsel for M/s Ajmal Associates For Respondents : Mr.P.Giridharan for RR3 & 4 No appearance for R6

ORDER

The petitioner has challenged the impugned auction catalogue published on 21.03.2026, by which bids were invited for the disposal and sale of fly ash.

2. The learned counsel appearing for respondents 3 and 4, upon instructions, submitted that the impugned auction catalogue has since been withdrawn and that a fresh auction notice has been issued for the disposal and sale of fly ash.

3. Recording the said submission, nothing further survives for adjudication in the present writ petition. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of, preserving liberty to the petitioner to challenge the fresh notification, if so advised. No costs.
