O R D E R

The Writ Petition has been filed for a Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent herein to provide necessary police protection during conduct of the Annathanam Function on 'Taipoosam Festival', dated 03.02.2015 at petitioner's costs, in petitioner's own premises, in No.364/19, measuring an extent of 0.03.75, situated at Vengaipatti Village, Sivagangai District.

According to the petitioner, he will conduct the Annathanam Function on the day of 'Taipoosam Festival', on 03.02.2015, in petitioner's own premises, in No.364/19, measuring an extent of 0.03.75, situated at Vengaipatti Village, Sivagangai District, at petitioner's costs, in accordance with law and he will abide any conditions.

3. Mr.R.Karthikeyan, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent, on instruction, would submit that the respondent police has no objection in Annathanam on the day of 'Taipoosam Festival', on 03.02.2015.

4. Considering the submission made by the learned Government Additional Government Pleader, the petitioner is directed to give a representation to the respondent and on such receipt of representation, the respondent police is directed to give necessary protection to conduct 'Annathanam' on the day of 'Taipoosam Festival', on 03.02.2015, at the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

costs of the petitioner, imposing any conditions as found essential by the police.

5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
