This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents not to harass the petitioners and to threaten the petitioners to provide a car.
2.The learned Counsel for the petitioners would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the third respondent, the second respondent frequently called the petitioners for enquiry and threatened to provide a car. Already the petitioners appeared before the second respondent on 08.03.2025 for enquiry. In spite of that, the second respondent frequently called the petitioners for enquiry. Hence this petition. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that based on the third respondent's complaint, they called the petitioners for enquiry and they also appeared 2/5
and assured to pay money within a particular time but not repaid the amount. Therefore, they called the petitioners for enquiry. Apart from that they have not harassed the petitioners and not insisted to pay money. 4.Considering the prayer sought for in this petition and recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this Court, without even issuing notice to the private respondent, is inclined to pass order.
5.Accordingly, the second respondent is directed to complete the enquiry upon the third respondent's complaint along with the petitioners' representation and take appropriate action, in accordance with law, within a period of one week from the date of this order. 6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
