O R D E R

The petitioner is the defendant in O.S.No.8 of 2014 on the file of the learned District Judge, Karur.

2. It is a suit on Promissory Note. According to the plaint averments, borrowal had taken place at Karur. Therefore, the Court below is very much having the territorial jurisdiction to decide the matter. It is only a civil suit and therefore, the petitioner herein can be represented through counsel.

3. This Court does not find any reason for withdrawing the case from the District Court, Karur and transferring it to Pondichery. No ground as contemplated under Section 24 of C.P.C., has been made out. This Court finds no merit in this petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. The Transfer Civil Miscellaneous petition stands dismissed, accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petition is closed.
