O R D E R

This Civil Revision Petition is filed to direct the learned District Munsif to expedite the contempt proceedings in I.A.No.1181 of 2014 in I.A.No.465 of 2014 in O.S.No.262 of 2014, on the file of the District Munsif Court, Karur.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that contempt petition has been filed as early as in the year 2014, but, till date, the learned Judge has not passed any order on the contempt proceedings and hence, the petitioner is not able to enjoy the fruits of the decree. In such circumstances, the petitioner has come forward with the present petition for early disposal of the said contempt proceedings.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. Since it is only for speedy disposal of the case, no notice is necessary to the respondent.

4. Even though the matter has been listed after a period of 1 1⁄2 years, the petitioner has reported that no order has been passed in the contempt proceedings. Hence, without adverting to the merits of the case, the learned District Munsif, Karur, is directed to dispose of the I.A.No.1181 of 2014 in I.A.No.465 of 2014 in O.S.No.262 of 2014, pending on its file, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. With the above direction, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
