ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to quash the proceeding in C.C.No.205 of 2017 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Alangulam.

https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 2.The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the aforesaid proceeding may be directed to dispose within a

time frame fixed by this Court and till the disposal of the said proceeding the personal appearance of the petitioners may be dispensed with.

3.Considering the aforesaid submissions, this Court is inclined to pass the following order:- (i) the learned Judicial Magistrate, Alangulam, is directed to dispose the proceeding in C.C.No.205 of 2017 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

(ii) in the meantime, the personal appearance of the petitioners before the Judicial Magistrate, Alangulam in C.C.No.205 of 2017 is dispensed with and Crl.M.P(MD).No.5653 of 2018 is allowed. However, the petitioners shall appear before the Court below as and when required.

4.With the above directions, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected Crl.M.P(MD). No.5652 of 2018 is closed.
