ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent Police, in connection with a case in Crime No.5 of 2024, for the offence punishable under Sections 417, 376 and 109 IPC, has filed this petition seeking anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner had promised to marry the defacto complainant and had physical relationship with her. Now, he is refusing to marry her. Hence the complaint.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that if the petitioner marries the defacto complainant, there may be a chance for communal clash and honour killing. He further submits that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent Police submits that this Court has already dismissed the petitioner's anticipatory bail petition and till now, there is no change in the petitioner's stand. 2/3
5. Considering the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this Court is not inclined to grant any relief to the petitioner.
