ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent Police to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.06.2021 within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is the President of M/s.Nadar Mahajana Sangam, which is registered under the Tamil Nadu Societies Act, 1975 and in the name of Sangam, they have been doing social works, such as Blood Bank, Police Training https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.11307 of 2021 etc. for the past several years. Now, this year, the Blood Camp is scheduled to be held to 15.07.2021 in the Society Premises, by strictly adhering to the COVID-19 Guidelines issued by the State and Central Government as well as by maintaining social distancing. In this regard, a representation has been sent on 18.06.2021, seeking permission for conducing the Blood Camp.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the representation made by the petitioner has been received and so far, no order is passed on the said representation.

4. Considering the limited request and also considering the reasons behind the request, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.06.2021 and pass orders thereon, on merits and in accordance with law, on or before 13.07.2021.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
