This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction, to direct the 1st and 2nd respondents to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner, for construction of a compound wall and gate in the petitioner's property in Old Survey No.3174 and 3175 renumbered as Re-survey No.612/4/ 612/5A in Middalam Village, Vilavancode Taluk, Kanyakumari District, by considering the representation of the petitioner, dated 09.03.2020. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Today when the petition is came up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, would submit that upon receipt of the complaint dated 09.03.2020, given by the petitioner, an enquiry has been initiated in CSR No.143 of 2020, and the same is pending on the file of the 2nd respondent police. Further, if necessary, the 2nd respondent Police is ready to give necessary police protection to the petitioner.

3. Hence, recording the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
