O R D E R

The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the respondent to grant extension of time to repay the educational loan, which has been granted in the year 2007, she has not repaid the amount and she has paid only Rs.20,000/-. Innocuously, she made a prayer that she is ready to willing to pay and she need only time. Her application was made on 28.03.2015. For past one year, not even a single paise has been paid. Already she has availed one year time. Now she prays further time.

2. The respondent bank stated that they have not received any amount.

3. In view of the same, there is no need to refer the matter for consideration of the representation by the respondent bank. Suffice to state that the petitioner having availed one year time https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

from the date of representation, namely, on 28.03.2015 itself, she should have completed the loan within a period of six months. The petitioner is given six months time, to pay the full amount provided to show her bona fides, she has to pay 30% of the balance amount, within three months. If she pays the said 30%, further three months time will be given for full payment but even if the Ist Installment is not paid, within time the respondent bank is at liberty to proceed further without waiting.

4. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
