(Order of the Court was made by J.NISHA BANU, J.) This contempt petition has been filed alleging willful disobedience of the order passed by this Court made in W.P(MD)No. 26102 of 2024, dated 30.10.2024.

The order passed in the said writ petition reads as under: ''Shri P.T.Thiraviyam appearing for respondents 1 to 5 states that his clients will take steps to survey the alleged encroached area and take action in accordance with law.
2. In view thereof, writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.''

Today, when the contempt petition was taken up for hearing, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would state that proceedings have already been initiated and it is under process.

Recording the said submission, the respondents are directed to bring the eviction proceedings to its logical end within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.
